The Friends of Evelyn Meador have committed to work with Harris County Public Library and the City of Seabrook to make our library a wonderful resource for our coastal community. Our fundraising efforts help support library programs and offerings that enhance the community in which we serve. We are also raising funds for the next phase of the Seabrook Community Garden, which consists of an edible tree forest! As a 501(c)(3) organization, all donations are tax deductible. Seabrook Rotaract is leading this project with financial support from the Friends of Evelyn Meador Library. Rotaract clubs bring together young professionals to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. Seabrook Rotaract is an extension of Seabrook Rotary. Phase 1 of the project consists of a beautiful community herb garden. Phase 2 is currently being planned and will include tree plantings on the trail grounds next to the library. Stay tuned for more updates and volunteer opportunities!
