National Friends of Libraries Week October 15-22, 2023!

The Friends of Evelyn Meador Library have pledged to work with the Harris County Public Library and the City of Seabrook to make our library a wonderful resource for our coastal community. Our fundraising efforts help purchase books, upgraded furnishings and equipment that enhance the overall quality of our library. We urgently need book donations, as our inventory is running very low! Bring your donations directly to our Friends bookstore, located inside the Evelyn Meador Library, just as you enter through the main doors to the left. We accept all gently used books and jigsaw puzzles; no magazines, cassettes or VHS tapes, please. 

All money raised by the Friends Bookstore support Evelyn Meador Library programs. Donations can be dropped off at the bookstore during normal operating hours. Please call ahead for large donations so that we can arrange for storage. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Evelyn Meador Library Beautification Day is Saturday, April 1st from 10-2!

Join us for our Beautification Project on April 1st from 10 AM to 2 PM. Register here https://bit.ly/3z29G47. Come and help us spruce up the garden and have a ton of fun!

We are located at 2400 N Meyer Ave, across from Seabrook Intermediate School.

What better way to love your library than by bringing us your book donations?

We urgently need book donations, as our inventory is running very low! We are especially interested in adult contemporary fiction books. Bring your donations directly to the Friends Bookstore – we’re located inside the Evelyn Meador Library, just as you enter through the main doors to the left. We accept all gently used books; no magazines, cassettes or VHS tapes, please. We’re typically open when the library is open, if volunteers are available to staff it. All money raised by the Friends Bookstore support Evelyn Meador Library programs. Donations can be dropped off at the bookstore during normal operating hours.
